“Be in control of your body and not at its mercy” - Joseph Pilates
That is the guiding philosophy of Fiona since she was diagnosed with degenerative disc and spondylolisthesis in her early 20s. Frustrated at the lack of results from traditional forms of treatment, Fiona was introduced to Pilates. Since then, she is fully convinced of the benefits of Pilates which made her switch from her sedentary corporate career to her current Pilates instruction.
She enjoys meeting people from all walks of life and seeing clients benefit from their Pilates sessions. Witnessing how her clients are able to return to the activities that they love, gives her great joy and satisfaction.Fiona has a keen interest in clients requiring rehabilitation, especially back related issues. And being a mum herself, both pre/post partum programs, which have kept her supple yet strong throughout and after her pregnancy.
